Just browsing some Pete Smith musings from another thread when he/she was slamming low-priced stocks. I can't help but notice the same tone and tactics being used by both Smiths. More than just a coincidence?

Out of curiousity I have read the posts here from the past week.
The first thing that struck me was the fact that some of the posters on
this board have been active before in other scam stocks, most notably
SEXI. You can go back to the AOL message boards from the middle of last
year and see Mike Vitas posting almost every day hyping the stock. There
are other similarities....postings that hint at big news to come,
exhortations to others to not sell, advice to average down, etc. I also
find it offensive and pathetic that some of you apparently feel the need
to "get out the word" about this and other stocks you've foolishly
bought by spamming on multiple message boards....this is a violation of
SI rules and shows total disregard and disrespect for others. Take your
act to the AOL and MF boards for that. For those who are long this
stock, I pray you get what's coming to you. If it was marginable, I'd be
shorting it to the hilt. Mike Vitas and others...don't you ever get
ashamed, embarassed or feel guilty? PT Barnum was right.....

Even Sergio's responses are similar...

Pete, you haven't said why IFCI is not a good buy other than you don't
like Mike Vitas. Please stop wasting our time.

And here Mike points out how the one Smith has the same response and e-mail problems as the other.

So Pete/Cheryl, you haven't answered any questions.

You have not given your reasons to bash me or IFCI other than I used to
post to SEXI thread.

You have not produced your obviously superior review of the company. As
a matter of fact, you have spouted off just like you claim I have just
in the opposite direction.

Had you read this thread in its entirety, you would have seen a complete
discussion of IFCI financials by the thread including a review by Mike
Kugler who is a fierce digger and I invited on this thread to make sure
I didn't miss anything. IFCI is a turnaround stock this year that is
finally turning the corner after a bad 1996.

You have not responded to my email asking what your problem is.

Just too similar.
