Two Bit Gas Lines
Plenty of oil and few places to refine it on the West Coast after a refinery explodes in California. My source has been from two gas stations where I filled the gas tanks of both the car and truck after hearing the words rationing, cut hours and the price to be increased to over two dollars a gallon tonight. That made me flash back to 1973 and the economic ramifications of that fiasco such as the recession in 1974. So far nothing has been able to stop this stock market from sending the averages higher, but if anything can, this could be it. Sure it is a short term thing, buy what if there are more complications to arise? Perhaps this is a good time to sell covered call options and buy put options from the proceeds to shield your stock and bond holdings to smooth thing out or be ready for a rough ride.
