BRB has the former President of Sleeman's on board now, and has recovered from a price point below CA$1.00, and now has been trading in the CA$2-2.50 range largely. It will interesting to see their 2nd Qtr results, since Sleeman's had a slightly down quarter (that ended one month earlier) attributed to weather and the hockey strike. Somewhere in there is coming some consolidation of beer interests for ALE and/or BRB, whether domestic or international. SAB Miller has been quite aggressive lately, all over the World, for example, and has recently bought another Western Hemisphere brewery, Bavaria, in South America. Either of these craft breweries would be a drop in the bucket purchase for SAB Miller.
