Telecommunication Products, Inc. Announces Strategic Alliance with UB-Port, Inc. to Cross License and Market Proprietary Video Player and Videoconferencing Technology in Asia, Taiwan and Latin America
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2002-- Telecommunications Products, Inc. (OTCBB:TCPD - News) -- a technological development company - today announced a strategic alliance with UB-Port, Inc., a set top box manufacturer, to market it's video on demand and videoconferencing technology. Telpro has entered into a licensing and marketing agreement to be integrated into UB-Port's proprietary set top box device giving the Company marketing alliances in Asia, Taiwan and Latin America.
Robert Russell, President and CEO of Telpro recently stated "Our strategic plan of integrating our codecs with UB-Port's proprietary codes can produce the state-of-the-art platform to permit Telpro to aggressively license the video on demand player as a co-branded, turnkey solution for video, film and other content providers as well as license the videoconferencing solution to a combined market whose base exceeds ten million revenue producing subscribers".
