Lahuta e Malsise Historical docudrama of the man, Gjergj Fishta, and his authorship of the national epic of Albania. Lahuta e Malcis (The Highland Lute ) is a historical epic, a panorama of northern Albanian history from 1862 to 1913 which mirrors the long Albanian struggle for freedom and independence. The Highland Lute is a work of great significance to the Albanian people and, at the same time, constitutes the first Albanian-language contribution to world literature.
