NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Automatic Data Processing Inc. Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $258.8 million, or 44 cents a share, up from a year-ago profit of $211.9 million, or 36 cents a share. Revenue rose 10% in the latest three months to $2.3 billion from $2.1 billion in the same period a year earlier. The average estimate of analysts polled by Thomson First Call was for a profit of 44 cents a share in the June period. Looking ahead, the Roseland, N.J., provider of transaction processing and information technology products and services forecast earnings per share growth of 15% to 20% in fiscal 2006.
