ISDN, Intel and the future

Evan, point well taken but, Who cares, Intel is not tied to ISDN. It owns the Pentium line
maybe the most successful tech product roll-out in history. It controls
2/3+ of the world's PC platforms. P6 will come into its own in the
near future once the software side catches up with the hardware.
With the advent of 32 bit apps, intel's p6 will begin to penetrate
a market that is only beginning to be realized. Hewlett Packard and
Intel are teaming up for P7 in 1997. I think there is nothing
but good that can come out of a company that is more focused on the
future: 2-3 years down the road). Remember the pentium floating
point PR nightmare. Stock was in the 50's, trades at 130-140 now
split adjusted. How much better can it get. Don't listen to
the dorfmans and others who come up with the predictor for the week
with Intel think 2 years down the road. Long term philosophy is a
neccessity in a rapidly evolving tech field.
