Hi J, though we didn't get into it specifically, I think he meant US and not worldwide. You also should remember that most of these guys (analysts) don't know half of what we here know about ADSL and its status.

I have read some reports that say ADSL is now where ISDN was in '92-'93, but believe this time around the deployment would be at a much higher speed. I don't know about 1 million lines per month, that may be a bit too optimistic as much as 600-700K for '98 was a bit too pessimistic.

The best way to answer the question is: would you get one if it cost you $70/month or would you wait until it gets to $70 month? I personally would pay the $70 if I have to...
