10/13/06 Update
It was a lucky Friday the 13th for the Nasdaq Biotech Index, with the NBI finally moving back into the black, if barely, at week's end. At Friday's close, the NBI was up .51% YTD (vs. down -1.54% YTD at its 10/6/06 close). The Charity Contest portfolios had an even better week than the NBI, with their median now up 2.39% YTD (vs. down -2.34% YTD at the 10/6/06 close). At Friday's close, 22 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 21 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
Wilder widened his lead a bit over RKRW and his portfolio closed the week up 53.3% YTD vs. RKRW's portfolio gain of a mere 45.3% YTD.
Have a super weekend everyone!
