Peter,

its 1:15 P.M. in Kanchanaburi province and its more or less a free day for me. I'm taking some ducklings out to my friends farm this afternoon and will probably do some fencing while I am there. I am no longer formally involved with any of the Burma-oriented ngo' as i don't cotton to their methodology nor their financial shenanigans. Very much a PC country club kind of affair. I remain involved teaching English largely to Mon people who were the original settlers in Burma but who have fared quite badly at the hands of the Burmese for the last 500 or so years.

There's a short answer, i can PM you if you'd like to know more.

As far as being on SI, I started hanging around in the summer when i was home for a month and liked the atmosphere. Until recently the strictly drilling thread has been my preferred area and I remain heavily invested in the resource stocks. recently I have begun shorting with reasonable success. I am scalping 2/3 of my short positions and leaving positions open where i think the downside is substantial. ESFT and BTWS have been my most profitable shorts thus far though each took a bit of work and patience to establish a position that i was comfortable with. I like the looks of LINK and think that NTRX will be a major disappointment to its rabid investors, though i may be a little early to that party.
