I was out and unable to respond to your officious post until today. The stock was at 9 5/8 when the deal closed. Perhaps it was negotiated when the stock was at $5. That, however, doesn't change the fact that this deal can only be viewed as money raised on terrible terms. To imagine that that's not the case or irrelevant is to delude yourself. As for my being either an idiot or a shill, is that the opinion you hold of anyone whose views are different than your own? If I come around to your point of view "southern gent", would you invite me to one of your book burnings?
