With technology comes power - instead of sending all the immigrants to overcrowded LA that has no housing supply - mr bubblemiester can look at all his data and say - hmm - we need to send some immigrant flow to south fl to fill up some condos - they didn't have IBM mainframes and infinite databases in times past near the level of today - much better flow now no? The net has improved a lot of things - look at how much you are using it to figure out where all the good deals are - so are millions of others - the market with better data can be far more effective than citizens and gubbments in the 30's depression. Like the book I ROBOT.
