Gary: Once again, thank you for an enlightening disquisition. You have certainly shed important light on this subject, ordinarily obscured from public view. Clearly, as you suggest, the wolves probably would have an easier time on the OTC bulletin board. I am gratified to learn that most market makers are deadly competitors. That alone would tend to keep a market honest. The concern, of course, would be at the BB level where less than a handful of MM's could conceivably conspire to manipulate a stock. Your point is well taken concerning computer trading, as well. Thank you for detailing that important pitfall. Very enjoyable and eye-opening reading.
