Dale: I have no idea how long the sluggish recovery may last...the mention of 10 years by Joe not as a prediction but just as an "unlikely" scenario is interesting to me as it reminded me of the flip side about 30 years ago when the basic economic assumption was that 10 year rates don't move..Just when one thinks an economic rule is inviolable, is when it is most vulnerable to violation, it seems...
