Jan. 28, 2000 (Electronic Engineering Times - CMP via COMTEX) -- SUNNYVALE, CALIF. - Silicon Storage Technology Inc. has added three products to its 39 series Multi-Purpose Flash family. The 8-Mbit 39VF800A, the 4-Mbit 39VF400A and the 2-Mbit 39VF200A are available in 512k, 256k and 128k x16 configurations, respectively.
The parts feature 45-nanosecond read-access times and use a single-voltage supply of 2.7 V to 3.6 V for read, program and erase. They target program code storage for new communications, networking and multimedia applications, including GPS navigation systems, MP3 players, PDAs, digital subscriber lines, DVD and CD-RW.
