Learn from 2000 - watch Gallup after debate!!!

I was just reading over post-debate analysys from the 2000 Gore-Bush debate. Read carefully how Gallup effects the news:
"But the contest remained remarkably close, and some daily tracking polls already had shown Gore gaining back some of the popular support he had lost in previous days.
Bush led 47 percent to 44 percent in a daily tracking poll by Gallup for CNN and USA Today, by 43 percent to 41 percent in the Battleground poll for voter.com and by 43-42 in a survey by independent pollster John Zogby for the Reuters news agency.
All were close enough to be considered statistical ties given the margin of error. Bush had lost ground in some polls, and was trailing Gore 43-42 in a poll for CBS."

Let me get this right - After the first debate Zogby had Bush up 43-42. CBS had Gore up 43-42. But the article relies primarily on Gallup, giving Bush a 47-44 edge.
