OnePoint Communications Selects MetaSolv's TBS for Infrastructure Solution

PLANO, Texas, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MetaSolv Software, Inc., (Nasdaq: MSLV - news) announced today that Chicago-based OnePoint Communications will use MetaSolv's Telecom Business Solution(TM) (TBS(TM)) software for a portion of OnePoint's back office operations support solution. MetaSolv's TBS software will manage the order processing, network inventory and design, service provisioning, trouble resolution, gateway interconnection, and workflow management business functions for OnePoint's bundled service offerings of local and long distance service, cable and high-speed Internet access for residential customers.
MetaSolv's TBS software will be used by OnePoint's customer service, engineering, provisioning, network operating center, field and service delivery personnel to design and manage the order processing and service fulfillment functions related to the communications services offered by OnePoint. Through an implementation partnership with Ernst & Young, current OnePoint systems are being integrated with TBS software product line to accomplish an automated flow-through of order, trouble ticket and access service request data and processes.
