Very much so. The percentage gain or loss on a warrant is always
much greater than that of the underlaying common stock. A simple example
would be Neoprobe warrants (NEOPW) which I bought in May this year,
when they were 15/16. I sold them two weeks ago for $ 12. While the
warrant had moved 1200%, the stock (NEOP) had only moved 300% ,from
6 to 18/sh.
So far this 52 weeks INTC is up about 110%, while the warrant is up
500%.
And, yes, you just place a buy order of INTCW at market or specified
price. INTC has a strong support level at 60, so in my opinion, the
warrants are not going to get much cheaper than these levels.
