Candle,

Would you look at MMGR Medical Manager? They came public Jan 1997 at $9 to 10 per share. Today they are $30 and change. They make software that doctors use in their practices and they are going around buying up small dealerships. During their first year they showed $16 million in before tax income but they also showed an increase of $24 million on the balance sheet. As near as I can tell this Goodwill represents the excess of what they paid for these small dealerships and what they were actually worth.

I don't think this is illegal or anything but is it sneaky? I appreciate any light you might be able to shed on this company.

Regards, Stan
