In the age of the internet & with the databases at all major media outlets, the likelihood that any US Administration would be successful in removing allegedly, "previous statements that have now proven to be untrue", or for the purpose of, "changing "history"" is, on its face, absurd. There are hundreds, if not thousands of databases that have most, if not all of these allegedly removed statements. Many of them are in the hands of folks who greatly disapprove of the current Administration. It would be the downfall of any Administration trying to revise history in the manner being alleged here IMO.
