Mar 31, 1998 (6:38 PM ET) - The Motley Fool Evening News Biotechnology company Gilead Sciences (Nasdaq:GILD - news) dropped $2 7/8 to $36 on concerns that the company won't present research results on its developmental HIV drug Preveon at a major medical conference next week. Preveon is in the latter stages of testing and is expected to file an application for FDA approval this summer...
