Antitrust case approved against Apple

filed by an unhappy iTunes user

arstechnica.com

What is interesting is that this case, if in the extremely unlikely possibility, does find Apple in violation of antitrust laws, it would actually help their case involving Apple Corps. The case would have to set clear definitions of markets and competition, which are really very gray areas and constantly changing from new business models and technology.

The results of the anti-trust cases against Microsoft have yielded very little. Forcing Microsoft to distribute a Media Player-less version of Windows that nobody wants does nothing.

Time and timeliness had a lot to do with it, and time is on Apple's side in these matters.
