This age of political spin and verbal deception is a tragic age. It denies even sensible people the possibility of getting a firm grasp of the current global situation and therefore the situation they themselves are now in. One of the major political spins is, of course, the US military debacle in Iraq where President Bush has too few troops on the ground to control a violently escalating rebellion and where he cannot pull out without causing a huge US political debacle.

I just cannot believe that so few believe in the USA understand this, including Senator Kerry.

I was a Dean supporter from day one.

Bush is just a "dumb bully".
