You're preaching to the choir, itsallover. Unfortunately, from what I see around me, people do NOT want to hear this. Friday morning all I heard was that it might be time to get back IN the market.

I disturbes me to see it, but nobody cares about fraud, nobody cares about marketplace crooks. All people want is for the market to go back up. Anyway, anyhow. Fraudulently, honestly, nobody seems to care, people seem to be treating IBM the same way they treat penny stocks: "i don't care if it's a pyramid, i'm in early".

People just want the market to go up.

I don't know what it will take for people to realize that long-term appreciation is linked with market integrity, but I doubt anything short of a 7k dow and an 800 Naz will do it.

My personal feeling: this is desperation driven by an aging boomer population that realizes the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train bound for "Nosavingsville".
