Yep. And since the business model for much of the Internet and
online is dependent upon advertising, it will come as surprise
to some to find that the 'hot sector' are 'cyber-cyclicals'.

And, of course, spending on new media is the first to go.

Consider that if the Feds had opened the Internet to commercial
traffic in 1990 instead of 1992, no one would have dared present
a business plan based upon advertising.
