Speaking of weird get-ups, I have the World Cup on TV in the background. The camera just panned the crowd and a Japanese fan had a flag painted on his face. It was a white rectangle centered on his face from eyebrows to mouth and a round, red nose like a clown. That style of face painting may be common in Japan but I'd never seen it before. It was cute and clever. And really conspicuous. Even more conspicuous than your Groucho glasses.
