I have noticed that when an unjustice happens to another, it is a molehill; when it is perpetrated by one's affine, it is an anthill; when those who call others' injustices molehills get their own ox gored, it's suddenly a mountain!
Re your transcription of the CH/X exchange, it is incomplete. (Probably you being extraneous to this discussion, which has few moving parts at this point, it would have been better if you'd kept out of it, but moving right along)
It went this way:
CH responded to X's comment to penni about "other forces, "Some people were actually having a non-combative, positive, interesting discussion. jla and E just couldn't stand it."
X did not respond as you suggest with "I think we should just move on..."
She responded, "I think perhaps we should just carry on anyway."
Why don't you stand on the sidelines on this one? It's simple, and promises to be a short and elucidating case study. |
