Well, this weekend is officially going to be "tax hell" for me. I filed an extension (as I do every year) and (as happens every year), I am glad I did.

K-1s dribbled in well after April 15 (as the do every year), and I just got an updated 1099 from Schwab THIS WEEK.

Not the worst 1099 revision I ever got (I got a revised 1099 for tax year 2018 in 2021 or 2022 from Schwab), but its annoying to have new data showing up at the last minute.

I do a "preliminary" return for my extension so I can pay what I might owe (and I always over pay a bit for my own protection), but these late revisions make me redo everything.
