Actually the shocked part was sarcasm. Not having a college degree is a credential to their audience. Think how successful they could be if they didn't graduate from high school!


I know you're right but its still surprising to me. Having a college education should be a prerequisite for most people......esp. when you are in the public eye and influencing public opinion. There are the exceptions as Ten so aptly pointed out but they are the exceptions.....like Gates and Einstein.......so bright they don't need to go to college. However, most of us need that kind of finishing off.

In addition, the fact that Beck, Rush, et al are so anti education suggests a rather toxic mindset. Its no surprise that facts mean little to them.
