Idiot Alert of the Day Apparently the market prices in worst case scenario for every sector but the equipment sector. Cramer, We could be flummoxed, we could think that Novellus (NasdaqNM:NVLS - News) and KLA-Tencor (NasdaqNM:KLAC - News) and Applied Materials (NasdaqNM:AMAT - News) have bottomed because we got bad news from Novellus last night and the stocks didn't go down. Or we can just accept that stocks, short-term, lie all the time these days. In the old days we could have counted on these stocks to reflect the values of disappointment immediately.
