The miserable person we have as president went negative hard and early. By the time team Romney responded the die was cast.


I didn't see much of a response at all. If you let people lie about you without a response, people who don't pay much attention will think the lies must be true. If you don't attack the other side, people who don't pay much attention may think the other side must be basically ok.
