When I read that quote, I couldn't help thinking about a certain CEO who also has "a history of value destruction and a behavior consistent with making bad decisions." Without a doubt, that scenario is a red flag for shareholders and a bad omen for the share price in the long term. The CEO I'm thinking of has a history of holding senior management positions at companies that failed and resulted in large shareholder losses.. He also has a history of posting on public forums and threatening posters with defamation lawsuits.
