It is believable. You can't have it both ways. You can't continually take wealth from productive people, and break capital creating systems until we are no longer able to produce wealth, then complain when there are no resources for the needy.

LMAO. We can't take care of our poor not because our country isn't productive but because we're spending it on defense to assuage the paranoia that seems to afflict certain portions of the population.

Well, I suppose you can but most of us see the flaw in that thinking. We are going to see much more of that as the reality of an unproductive service economy sets in.

We have had the homeless for decades right after Reagan cut taxes to the rich and closed institutions that housed the disabled and mentally impaired.
