If you were working back then, you are talking about a comparison to old architecture (probably early version 5). The new DSA architecture was introduced with version 6.x in December 93 (3 years ago), and most of the DSA benchmarks are with the version 7.x. You are talking a lot of difference. I invite you to look at the newer stuff. For example, all the security is now built in, with lots of logging, ....
