Like North Korea, it won't take a military engagement to rattle that pissant little country to its core. Just an effective naval blockade and a lot of sabre rattling will do it. Syria is a mere pimple on the hind end of a very large Indian elephant. The Muttering Mullahs are on their way out in Iran, Iraq will stabilize, Lybia has already sold it's pathetic soul for a piece of the pie - Syria is merely a Furuking joke stuck between real countries.

I didn't hear what Condi had to say, but - regardless of her title - I don't think she is saying all she knows, nor is she knowledgeable in all that the total intel community has to offer. The are still many high-up in the military/intel that won't tell a broad squat - for good reason.

One 55 gallon drum of Anthrax powder (..that could kill millions if air-dumped by a Cessna 172 over Chicago or NYC..) can be stashed in any wacko raghead's closet very easily. Just the same way "..Saddass.." was stashed in a spider hole less than a few miles from our troops area HQ.
