Nihil, re Summers:

What a lot of people don't know is that he is directly responsible for a lot of the tax-simplification measures the Clinton administration has created (the nutcases here will dispute me on this, but just look at the "check the box" entity classification regulations).

Summers is brilliant, but he has a nasty personality, and when he says to get something done, the people in Treasury don't ask "how," they get it done.
