I did, with my own eyes, and realize unselfishly (I got to breathe the same air as everyone else, most of the time) that the path to China's development is not going to be that different than the US': growing food, cooking food, leave some spare time to make some semiconductors, write some programs, and getting on with it. And so, therefore, no right, no wrong, just is, and so it must be, unless there is a fairer and more democratic way, which the Kyoto process was supposed to figure out.
