I wouldn't call myself a "Randian", in any case neither "my type" nor Objectivists have had their way for even 50 seconds, let alone 50 years.

The last 50 years have been 50 years of growing government. If Objectivists (or to use your term "Randians") had had their way government would be much smaller and less intrusive.
