APOL, up 25% on 5 X the volume. I'd say that was some short squeeze!!! Money was running scared today and mostly a flight to anything but techs. Seems a pretty dramatic move, I will check out their website, curriculum, programs etc... and may hit it if it gaps up. Talking about accounting irregularites, many companies are now pushing the limits on GAAP these days. Goodwill written into the balance sheets, one time items being reflected in EBITDA and investments from selling companies own stocks all over the P/L. Nothing illegal, but seems accountants might want to take another look at what these standards of GAAP tried to accomplish and consider tightening the limitations of imaginative CAs... Glad to get that off my chest.
