I agree with the accounting....that's why this bear market is not over yet. There is still too much wool being pulled over the public's eyes, and the excesses will eventually come out. These one time gains can't go on forever.

Expect a minimum of half of all companies that have gone public in the last 3 years to disappear within another 3 years, either by aquisition, or more likely, bankruptcy.

Well, over 200 companies have already lost over 90% of their peak value. Some have already shut down, and many more are on the verge.
