I found most of the great writers were on the left. Mark Twain, etc. I wonder why that is. The right wing is conservative and wants to keep things the way they are. The left wants to change the wrongs, like slavery, indentured sevitude, womens right to vote and segregation. Or even democracy which meant a revolution from the King. You think those revolutionaries were conservatives? The conservatives were loyal to the King/Queen. Those revolutionaries were the liberals of the day e.g. Jeffersona nd Franklin.
