Pigs always go to slaughter. We did what we could to convince the
longs but were labeled as unfriendly cold hearted bears. Who's their
friend now, the analysts?

I think the IRS rule book clouds the vision of some investors. If
someone really wants the long term capital gains tax rate they might
avoid volatile stocks like AOL or at least learn how to short against
the box. My guess is the original intent of the long term gains tax
was to counter the effects of inflation that cause false profits.
The IRS made lots of money off me today and I'll see that they get it
but I kindly decline letting the IRS run my life.

Happy Black Monday!
