Tim, I asked friends working at Norton Group of SYMC. According to
their (biased of course!)information, their NT product has no
competition in the market. What publication did you see that came up
with the review? Please share with us.

I disagree with you on the comparison to last year's Window 95 hype.
I have to say SYMC is too optimistic about their success on Win'95,
so is the market. But their product sales on Win '95 platform is
gradually picking up. I think the market also learn the lesson to
be cool and rational before the NT release. But before I read the
review you mentioned, I still believe SYMC has a very good utility
product for the NT platform.

I agree McAfee is much stronger player on killing virus, but still
SYMC has around 20% of that market (McAfee has < 50%? I am not sure)
and the market is growing fast enough for both of them. But look at
McAfee's price now!? I am sure you got in before the 58% rise,
but for me that McAfee window is closed, but SYMC is still a bargain.

Happy investing!

-Keith
