I'm not sure of the attraction for polar bear hunting, but it's too bad that it got caught up in an unrelated issue.

Hunters are better stewards of wild animal populations than enviro groups like Green Peace and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Hunters have a vested interest in the welfare of the populations, while the enviros are only interested in fund raising.
