One last point on MR and KM. I'm most certainly not expert on the hard drive industry, but I do know that it involves substantial cross licensing. So as KM becomes more visible (COMDEX), I'm pretty sure AXC will not be the only company working on KM-MR compatibility.Wouldn't be suprised to see AXC announce a joint R&D venture with a more liquid company in the future. Loads of possibilities if they can just get their foot in the door of that huge market. Gus, I'm comforted by the hope you lay out for an extension in the useful life of inductive heads. And a point on DST. I believe AXC thinks .. I certainly think .. that the emerging market in visual storage will primarily be in the multi terrabyte (SP?) area. The 810's balliwick. Also, my take on the IBM supplied samples is that AXC was shopping around for a manufacturer - in case contracts come. And that is just one of IBM's corporate hats. Thanks to this board for a very instructive discussion.
