You may interpret that as an instantaneous leveling of the playing field. However, the laws of physics generally rule out instantaneous phase changes. The arguments against a K6 instantaneous "victory" are many, and I have discussed them recently. It now comes down to placing your bets. I have money on AMD and Intel (and now Cyrix as well). But longer term - we shall see. Paul
