I was pissed off in the mid-90s that Clinton didn't go after bin Laden. He should have. However, in 2001, Bush had nearly nine months to do the same. He did not. He in fact ran on an isolationist, anti-nation-building platform, which would run contrary to the idea of resurrecting failed nation-states, like Afghanistan. EVERYBODY f-ed up prior to 9/11/01. It wasn't just the Dems. -Z
