It gets worse -

I assume you mean SOX? If you've been following along here (where the intelligent people post), you'd know that SOX compliance is not applicable to Pink Sheet stocks.

The company mentioned the Sarbane Oaxley Act (SOA) as one of the explanations the audit has taken so long.

On February 1st, 2006, I personally contacted the S.E.C. and enquired if they could verify an audit was occurring at Plasticon International. It has been 6 weeks now and I have heard no response.

I interpret the "no response from the S.E.C." as evidence an audit is occurring because the S.E.C. usually halts trading in a security while they conduct an investigation. Because this was not the response from the S.E.C., it suggests the S.E.C . is completely aware of an audit occurring. This is an idiosyncratic, hypothetical assumption on my part that could very well turn out to be wrong.

So much is hanging on the final completion of the audit. Currently, we do not actually know how much Plasticon is making, if anything, from their different product lines.

The company has stated that upon final completion of the audit, they will file for an uplisting to the OTCBB.

Here's something from that same source that BlueLinx will be interested in -
