i agree...the NYA chart pattern certainly looks bullish. but the OEX/SPX/Wilshire 5K patterns don't. as you say, lots of contradiction in the current picture. NYSE 10-day trin is e.g. oversold, NAZ 10-day trin is overbought at the same time. amazingly, the NYSE trin attained its oversold level while the NYA was actually rising. OEX underperforms today...generally not a good sign. regards, hb
