Re La Nina: CNN program summary, The World Today (Wolf Blitzer, Joie Chen), 7-8 PM CDT. Was maybe a 2 minute blurb. Said this winter will remind of past 2 winters. Pacific ocean chilling... Warmer southern half of US (didn't say drier)... Wetter, stormier Pacific NW & Great Lakes.... Question marks about effect on northern midwest and Atlantic NE. Didn't mention fuel usage in any way.
